Copyright in the web site, its design, layout, look, appearance and graphics remain our property. The contents of the web site may be downloaded printed or copied for personal use only.

The Teknophobia web site contains links to other web sites. We accept no responsibility or liability for the content of web sites which are not under our strict control. It is not permitted to create a link to this web site without our prior written consent.

We do not guarantee that the Teknophobia web site will be compatible with all hardware and software which may be used by visitors to the site. We will not be liable for damage to, or viruses that may affect, your computer equipment, software, data or other property as the result of your access to, use of or browsing of this website or your downloading of any materials, data, text or images.


 

 

Terms and conditions of Sale

 

  1. All goods and spare parts are guaranteed 12 months return to base (RTB)
  2. All goods within 14 days found to be faulty or Dead On Arrival may be replaced or refunded (excludes misuse)
  3. Goods returned for replacement or refund should be complete, in the original packaging and the condition supplied
  4. Goods returned after 14 days are subject to the manufacturers warranty policy
  5. Liability of goods supplied confirmed faulty, are limited to replacement, repair or credit, subject to stock & current prices
  6. Returned Systems or parts under warranty are subject to testing within reasonable time period.  Non faults are chargeable
  7. Guarantee applies to hardware only
  8. Goods are not sold on a trial basis due to sensitivity of products
  9. Prices do not include installation or training or the usage of the equipment or software
  10. No fix No fee, full policy applies only if upgrade is requested at time of purchase
  11. No returned goods can be accepted without the original invoice  (Please keep it safe, no copies)
  12. Software is subject to its licensing agreement.  No refunds given once opened, please check suitability/compatibility
  13. Returned goods not faulty may be accepted at our discretion within 14 days subject to a 30% restocking fee 
  14. Due to continual changes in hardware and software we cannot guarantee compatibility of a product unless asked to fit it
  15. Spare parts and add-on cards are for experienced users only.  Responsibility lies with the user as to its purpose.
  16. Special orders are non-returnable/non-refundable.  A 50% deposit is required on ordering
  17. Goods remain the property of Teknophobia until full payment is received in cleared funds
  18. Prices may change without prior notice

 

Terms and Conditions of Warranty Returned Products

 

  1. Items returned will be tested and examined to confirm the fault.  This will be done within a reasonable time.  A valid receipt for the product in question is required.
  2. Replacement of faulty goods within the guarantee period will be in the form of manufacturer replacement (subject to stock availability), credit or refund (see Note 3) provided that:
    • The fault has been established
    • The item has been returned complete with software, manuals and accessories
    • No signs of abuse or misuse are present
    • The item is not a Printer or Monitor.  (Please contact the manufacturer’s support service first.)  Otherwise the item will need to be returned to the supplier/manufacturer for replacement or repair.

3.     If a faulty item was bought within 14 days a refund will be made if complete.

4.     Credit and Refunds after any reasonable period will be at the discretion of Teknophobia and at current prices.

5.     Goods returned to the supplier/manufacturer may be subject to their charge in the event of an invalid guarantee due to misuse, abuse or an incomplete product.

6.     Teknophobia reserves the right to replace faulty goods with an equivalent product of similar value in cases where a direct replacement is not available or credit at current market value.

7.     In the event of no fault found we reserve the right to make a charge for the time spent

 


 

 

Terms and Conditions of Upgrades, Repairs and Fault Finds

 

  1. Upgrades will not be accepted without a full name, address and contact telephone number.
  2. There is an initial charge (stated above) which will be offset against the upgrade, this is non-refundable.
  3. Goods are left at the customers own risk.  Data should be backed up as no responsibility can be accepted for losses.
  4. Prices are valid at time of booking.
  5. If the price of the upgrade exceeds the above price, the customer will be informed.
  6. Any software that requires installation must be supplied with proof of ownership is required.
  7. Any licence agreements that are opened by Teknophobia, on behalf of the customer.
  8. Hardware supplied will be tested.  If you require further testing of applications or hardware this will incur an additional charge.
  9. Hardware or Operating System changes may occasionally cause applications to become in-operational.  If this occurs Teknophobia are not responsible for re-installing the affected application(s).
  10. Any upgrades not collected within 28 days after notification, will be subject to a £5.00 per week storage charge.
